
This level of service is offered to clients who have a very complex financial
situation and would probably appeal to clients earning in excess of £120,000
per annum and assets above £1,000,000 (excluding their main property).
Optima service clients will probably find that their time is at a premium,
travel frequently and would like to access their financial information
at a single reference point. Typical clients would be company directors,
clients who have just retired or expatriates with a UK bank account. That
said, we would welcome any potential client who felt that this level of
service would be of benefit (subject to a minimum fee of £10,000
per annum and initial acceptance discussions).
In order to benefit from this service, clients agree to pay a fee of
1.0% of their assets, paid monthly (0.5% where assets exceed £1.5
million).
For clients who enter at this level, the service includes the following:
- An initial meeting designed to create a picture of you, (and your
family, where applicable). At this meeting we will establish your life
goals, along with your current financial situation. We will also seek
to determine your attitude to life and investment risk and consider
what assumptions we will make when we draw up your financial plan.
- We will then prepare your financial plan, highlighting areas which
need attention. These could be:
- Contingency planning
- Investment planning and strategies
- Tax aspects (all aspects)
- Planning for retirement
- Scenario profiling
- Advice on commission free financial products
- The final report will then be discussed with you at a second meeting.
We will explain all our recommendations to you and give our reasons
for them. At this stage any last minute changes will be addressed and
incorporated into your plan.
- Subject to your approval, we will then act as your agent to implement
your plan (or parts of it). A third meeting will be held to discuss
product literature, where appropriate.
- A quarterly newsletter by email and access to our website.
- Quarterly reviews on your plan with subsequent reporting to you (e.g.
value of investments), including monthly investment report
- One point of reference for your financial details, maintained by
us and kept up to date
- Access to a dedicated member of the Quest team within social hours
for individual support and help. Such help and access can be via telephone
or e mail.
- Four meetings per year (including the initial meeting), face to face,
to discuss and review your plan.
- An annual re-appraisal of your situation, along with a revised financial
plan incorporating updating of risk profiles and goals
- Quarterly rebalancing of your portfolio, along with annual valuation
- Inter generational meetings regarding long term care, IHT planning
and succession planning
- Arranging all financial products and investments, including switching
of funds
- Annual valuation of portfolio
Unlike the other levels of service, there will be no additional costs
for any work we carry out for you (unless we have to refer to another
professional, e.g. a solicitor.
